Geography
Antdorf lies in the region Oberland.

History
Antdorf was already around 740 seats of noblemen from a branch of the Huosi, which included the founders and first abbots of Benediktbeuren. It originally belonged to the Benedictine Abbey, but came back at 905 Ortadel and was left in 1330 by the Emperor Louis of Bavaria Ettal Abbey. The village was part of the Electorate of Bavaria and formed a closed Hofmark. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community.
