Apolo Municipality

The municipality of Apolo is a district in the department of La Paz in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location in near space

The municipality of Apolo is one of two municipios Province Franz Tamayo and lies in the eastern part of the province. It is bordered to the west by the Republic of Peru, to the southwest by the municipality of Pelechuco and to the Province of Bautista Saavedra, on the south by the province Larecaja, in the southeast of the province of Sud Yungas, to the east by the department of Beni, and to the north by the province Abel Iturralde.
