Avanne - Aveney is a commune in the French department Doubs in the Franche -Comté.

Geography

Avanne - Aveney is located on 232 m, about 6 km southwest of the city of Besançon (air line). The double municipality extends on the western edge of the Jura, on both sides of Doubs, at the foot of the Jura - edge chain and at the western foot of the hill of Fort de Planoise.
