Franois

François is a commune in the French department Doubs in the Franche -Comté.

Geography

Franois is located on 294 m, about 8 km west of the city of Besançon (air line). The village is located in the gently undulating countryside between the rivers of Doubs in the south and Ognon (north) on a hill north of the Bois de Franois.

The area of ​​7:29 km ² municipal area includes a portion of the north Doubstals. The main part of the territory occupied by the plateau which extends between Doubs and Ognon and is on average 275 m. History

Attractions
