Miserey - Salines is a commune in the French department Doubs in the Franche -Comté.

Geography

Miserey - Salines, 285 m, about 7 km northwest of the city of Besançon (air line). The village is located in the gently undulating countryside between the rivers of Doubs ( in the south) and Ognon ( in the north), in a small valley on the western edge of the ridge of the Grande Côte.

The area of ​​6:22 km ² municipal area includes a section south of the Ognon. History

Is first mentioned Miserey in 1149 under the name of misery. In the Middle Ages the village was under the suzerainty of Besançon. Together with the Franche -Comté it came with the Peace of Nijmegen in 1678 definitively to France. Attractions
