Balaton Sound
Balaton Sound ( between 2007 and 2012 also known as Heineken Balaton Sound, since 2013 as the MasterCard Balaton Sound of sponsorship reasons) is one of the largest open -air music festivals of electronic music in Europe. The event takes place each on four consecutive days in July in the Hungarian city Zamárdi, directly on the shore of Lake Balaton ( Balaton ), the largest lake in Central Europe since 2007. It is organized by the organizers of the famous Hungarian Sziget music festival.
The festival won the vote at the beginning of 2013 the European Festival Award in the category Best Medium - Sized European Festival.
