Beynat
Beynat ( Occitan Beinat ) is a commune with 1263 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region; it belongs to the administrative district Brive- la -Gaillarde and Canton Beynat, whose capital it is. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Canton de Beynat. The inhabitants call themselves Beynatois (it).
Geography
Tulle, prefecture of the department lies about 24 kilometers northeast easily, Brive- la -Gaillarde approximately 21 kilometers north-west slightly and Beaulieu -sur -Dordogne approximately 22 kilometers southeast. The Roanne, a tributary of the Correze, flows through the municipal area.
