Bretnig-Hauswalde

Bretnig- house wood is a Saxon town is located about 30 kilometers east of the city of Dresden and belongs to the administrative community Grossroehrsdorf.

Geography and transport

Bretnig- house wood is approximately 11 kilometers northwest of Bischofswerda and about 15 kilometers south of Kamenz. The site is bounded by Ohorn in the north, the east Rammenau, Frankenthal in the south and Grossroehrsdorf in the West. The fastest way to reach the community via the A4 motorway, the center is only about a kilometer from the exit Ohorn (86 ) removed. By Bretnig -Hauswalde flow the Great Röder and the house Waldersbach.

The municipality consists of the two districts Bretnig and house forest.

History

In 1346 the forest house is first mentioned and first described in 1350 in a Lehnbuch Frederick the austerities as Breiteneichech. In a Lehnurkunde 1455 a Vorwerk was in Bretnig assigned to the manor Pulsnitz. In the 16th century Bretnig was already an independent manor. The settlement system originally corresponded to that of a Waldhufen village.

In 1761 Bretnig received a private school house in the town center, in 1852 came after two years of construction, the lower school and upper school in 1863 to do so. In 1836, the canvas factory JG Petzold & Son (Coal Petzold ) was founded. Later, the dyeing, a steam shortage and coal merchant were added. On September 23, 1913, leading through the village vehicle line between Radeberg and Bischofswerda was opened. Due to the First World War, the trips from 1915 to 1920 had to be interrupted. From 1920 until May 8, 1945 Max evil had held the office of first full-time mayor.

In May 1945, 49 people were battles between German and Polish troops to the victim. 89 buildings in the village were completely destroyed. This mainly affected the local documents Klinkenplatz, Lower Village, Röderweg and Karolinenhöhe. In 1950, forest house was a district of Bretnig.

In 1960, the ten-year Polytechnic High School has been introduced. From 1980 onwards, the lessons then took place in a new school. 1990 decided the local council, the new place name Bretnig -Hauswalde.

Policy

2009 Katrin Liebmann (independent) was re-elected as honorary mayor of the community. The council is also since 2009 from members of the constituency association Friends of the home Fördervereines Bretnig -Hauswalde eV of the constituency association for the promotion of the sport, the CDU and the SPD.

Economy

Commercial of various kinds are mainly concentrated in the industrial area Bretnig- Ohorn. The total area is about 36 hectares. Since 1992, this company in the metal, construction and textile industries as well as car dealers and wholesale companies have settled. On Bretniger district the industrial area is busy in area to 87 %.

Public institutions

In Bretnig a new kindergarten was opened recently.

Educational institutions

In Bretnig -Hauswalde there is a primary school. After completing the common school center site for middle school and high Grossroehrsdorf 2012, the middle school has moved (since 2013 secondary school ) there.

Nature

In Bretnig is the park " Hofepark ". Also, the recovery is the natural pool "bush mill " on the landing limit to Ohorn.

About a third of the surrounding former district Kamenz is under landscape or nature conservation and is accessible by many biking and hiking trails.
