Butere/Mumias District

Butere / Mumias District is a district in the Kenyan province of Western. The capital of the district is Butere.

The District has four hospitals with over 300 beds. The diocese of Kakamega the Roman Catholic Church operates in Butere / Mumias District next Primary and Secondary Schools for non- disabled children also have a Primary and a Secondary School for deaf children.

Structure

The Butere / Mumias District is divided into five divisions. Each division shall be a constituency.
