Cabinet of Helle Thorning-Schmidt I

The Government Helle Thorning -Schmidt was I from 3 October 2011 to 3 February 2014, the Government of Denmark. It was formed following the general election in 2011 of Social Democrats (S ), Social Liberal (R) and Socialist People's Party ( SF). The Social Democrat Helle Thorning -Schmidt is the first woman to head a Danish Cabinet. It replaced the center- right government of Lars Løkke Rasmussen.

It was a minority government, supported by the unit list and the North Atlantic MPs. The Social Democrats presented ten ministers, social liberals and socialists six ministers. The Trade and Investment Minister, the Minister for European Affairs and Development Ministers were allocated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Department of Nordic cooperation. The number of Danish ministries amounted to 19 plus the State Chancellery.

On August 9, 2013 was a minister castling. Here, the trade the Europe department has been assigned. On December 12, 2013 four more ministerial posts were reshuffled. Former SF- chairman Villy Søvndal left it for health reasons politics.

After a festering political crisis that left SF on January 30, 2014, the government. At the same time the party of the prime minister pledged to further their parliamentary support. On February 3, 2014, the successor government Helle Thorning- Schmidt was appointed II.
