Charles Woodson
Charles Woodson ( born October 7, 1976 in Fremont, Ohio) is an American professional American football player at the position of the cornerbacks. Woodson plays for the Oakland Raiders in the National Football League ( NFL). He played college football at the University of Michigan he, where in 1997 he won the Heisman Trophy.
Woodsen won in his time at the University of Michigan in addition to the Heisman Trophy yet the Walter Camp Award, the Bronko Nagurski Trophy Chuck Bednarik Award to, as well as the Jim Thorpe Award.
In 1998 he was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the NFL Draft and selected in the same year for defensive rookie of the year. He reached with the Raiders 2003 Super Bowl ( losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ) and moved in 2006 by the Raiders to the Green Bay Packers. In 2009 he was awarded the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award. He is a member of the NFL 2000s All- Decade Team.
