Steve Hutchinson ( born November 1, 1977 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) is an American professional American football player at the position of the offensive guards. He plays for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League ( NFL).

Career

College career

Hutchinson played in the four years at the University of Michigan always in the starting lineup, was awarded several times and Outland Trophy finalist. He was awarded the 2000 Jim Parker Trophy, an award for the most outstanding college lineman.

NFL Career

Steve Hutchinson was in the first round of the NFL Draft committed in 2001 by the Seattle Seahawks. For the Seahawks, he fought his place in the starting lineup. Together with Walter Jones, he was considered the best offensive line duo of the NFL. He was " free agent " in 2005.

The Minnesota Vikings committed Hutchinson in 2006 as a reinforcement of their offensive line. Hutchinson continued to provide strong performances and played to 2009 in all games for the Vikings in the starting lineup. He took from 2003 to 2009 throughout the Pro Bowl in part and was appointed to the National Football League 2000s All- Decade Team in 2010.
