Roland Champ Bailey ( born June 22, 1978 in Folkston, Georgia ) is an American football player at the position of the cornerbacks. He plays for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League ( NFL). Bailey played college football at the University of Georgia, where he was employed except as a cornerback in the offense as a wide receiver.

NFL

His professional football career began in 1999 when he was chosen by the Washington Redskins as the seventh player in the first round of the NFL Draft. Until the 2003 season, he played with the Redskins. After that season he moved, along with a draft pick for the second round, for Clinton Portis to the Denver Broncos.

Bailey was elected from 2000 to 2007 each year in the Pro Bowl. In the play-off game against the New England Patriots on January 14, 2006, he established the NFL record for the longest interception return with no subsequent point success. He caught a pass from quarterback of the New England Patriots, Tom Brady, in his own end zone from and carried him back about 100 yards to the opponent's 1- yard line.
