Chris Bourque

Christopher Bourque ( born January 29, 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American- Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since June 2013 at the Ak Bars Kazan in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

The 1.73 m wide winger began his career at the Boston University team in the game operation of the National Collegiate Athletic Association before he selected as 33 in the second round by the Washington Capitals NHL Entry Draft 2004 ( drafted ) was. After the season Bourque signed a two year contract with Atlant Mytischtschi from the Kontinental Hockey League. After eight games for Atlant he left the KHL in early October 2010 and was taken from the HC Lugano under contract.

On July 2, 2011 Bourque signed a contract for one year with the Washington Capitals. The entire 2011/12 season spent the striker but at their AHL farm team Hershey Bears and advanced with 93 points in the regular season the most successful points scorer of the season. 26 May 2012 it transferred the Washington Capitals in exchange for Zach Hamill to the Boston Bruins. During the following season he was both for the Providence Bruins in the AHL, and the Boston Bruins in the NHL used. During the NHL playoffs 2013 Bourque was obliged by Ak Bars Kazan for the following season.

Chris is the son of Hockey Hall of Famer Ray Bourque. His brother Ryan is also ice hockey player and was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2009 in the third round to 80th position of the New York Rangers.
