Constitución Department
The department Constitución located south of the province of Santa Fe in the center of Argentina and is one of 19 administrative units in the province.
It is bordered on the north by the departments Caseros, San Lorenzo and Rosario, and the province of Entre Ríos, east and south with the province of Buenos Aires and to the west by the Departamento General López.
The capital of the department Constitución is Villa Constitucion.
Population
According to estimates by the INDEC, the population rose from 83.045 inhabitants (2001) to 87 045 inhabitants in 2005.
