Copa Master de Supercopa
The Copa Masters de Super Copa ( Libertadores ) was a South American football club competition, which was provided from 1992 a year, but was only played twice in 1992 and 1994. Were eligible to participate in each case all the winners of the Super Copa Sudamericana.
1992 still attended all four former winners of the Super Copa. The tournament was played at the Estadio José Amalfitani in Buenos Aires, the home of CA Velez Sarsfield instead. In the second playout in 1994, which was held until March 1995, there were only two teams, so that the winner was determined in the return game. The 1998 edition was provided in Avellaneda from May 28 to June 7. After the tournament was postponed only because of the World Cup in France, no sponsors could be found at the end, so that this contest was ultimately discontinued in this experiment entirely.
