David Hruška

David Hruska ( born January 8, 1977 in Sokolov, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is since December 2009, when KLH Chomutov in the Czech second league under contract and is loaned to HC Energie Karlovy Vary since November 2010.

Career

David Hruska began his career in his hometown at HC Banik Sokolov before in the sixth round of the NHL Entry Draft, selected during 1995, 131 out of the Ottawa Senators ( drafted ) was. A short time later he was selected by the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL during the European Junior Draft. He completed only 28 games for the Rebels, but in which he scored 14 goals and 14 assists. In a game against the Medicine Hat Tigers scored five goals Hruska, so he keeps this team record since the Rebels. In December 2005 he returned to the Czech Republic to play for HC Petra Vsetín. Hruska only played in one playoff game for Vsetín, but in the end won with the team the Czech Championship. In the following season, he went in four games for his club in Sokolov on the ice, but otherwise played further in Vsetín. In the playoffs, he was employed in six games and at the end of the season was again winning the championship celebration. About the HC Slezan Opava he came in 1999 to HC Karlovy Vary, for whom he played until 2001. The following season then brought the breakthrough for Hruska: In 42 games, he scored Extraliga - 31 goals for HC Litvinov and HC Chemopetrol Femax Havířov, which brought in the top scorer. Since his team missed the playoffs, he moved to the National League A for EHC Kloten, for which he completed a playoff game.

In the summer of 2002, he was obliged by HC Slavia Prague, where he plays since then. In the season 2002/ 03 and 2007/ 08, he won two more Slavia Czech championship and excelled especially during the playoffs in 2007/ 08 when he scored six goals and 10 assists in 19 games.

In December 2009, Hruska Slavia Prague left and was obliged by KLH Chomutov. In November 2010, he was loaned to HC Energie Karlovy Vary, but returned before the play-offs back in the squad of KLH Chomutov.
