Denis Parshin

Denis Parshin Sergeyevich (Russian Денис Сергеевич Паршин; born 1 February 1986, Andropov, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who stands in October 2012 in Salavat Yulaev Ufa of the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Denis Parshin began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the HK CSKA Moscow, for its professional team, he made his debut in the Super League in the season 2003/ 04. In his rookie year, he scored two goals in 27 games and had four assists. He was then in the third round than a total of 72 players selected in the NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche in 2004, for which he, however, never played. Instead, the winger was at CSKA, in which he developed into one of the leading players within the team.

Since the 2008/ 09 season, Parshin takes part with the HK CSKA game on the operation of the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League. Especially in the 2009/10 season, in which he was one of the assistant captains of CSKA, he was able to convince scorer with 44 points in 59 games. Due to his good performances he was also nominated for the KHL All-Star Game.

Internationally

For Russia Parshin took at junior level at the U18 World Youth Championship in 2004, as well as the U20 Junior World Championship 2005 part. In the senior level in 2007 and 2009 he was in the squad of Russia in the Euro Hockey Tour.
