Denkte
Denkte is a municipality in the district of Wolfenbüttel, in Lower Saxony. It belongs to the Samtgemeinde aces, which has its headquarters in the town of Remlingen.

Geography
Denkte located in the north of the velvet municipality aces and is adjacent to the town of Wolfenbüttel and the ridge aces.
The four quarters are ( population figures according to the state from November 1, 2008):
- Great Denkte ( 2057 inhabitants)
- Small Denkte (441 inhabitants)
- Neindorf (336 inhabitants)
- Sottmar (275 inhabitants)
History
For the first time the church was first mentioned in the 9th century.
Incorporations
On March 1, 1974, the United Denkte communities, small Denkte, Neindorf and Sottmar grouped together for new community Denkte.

Reason: The site itself is much older than the first mention of the "Mark Denkte " in the 9th century. Although testified no founding document the age of the village, but rather a historic property, testimony of more than local importance, a gilded garment brooch from the Merovingian period (6th / 7th century ), which was excavated on a plot in small Denkte few years ago and now in the National Museum is located. Such fibula was not just an accessory of the Germanic clothing that gave support to the ruffled gown, but also a work of art made of fine material as the original primer still well preserved proves with its elegant design and the engraved ornaments.
The stone bridge in the emblem stands for a still well -preserved historic building, the so-called thunder castle bridge over the Altenau. A castle it has not given in small Denkte, but probably stuck this designation on a parcel with an inn. The bridge on which the annual figures are 1590 and 1702/1708 carved in stone to read, must, as local curators discovered peoples, have been built long before 1708, and even before 1590, as reported in 1620, of its renewal, they therefore probably even then had a great age. Due to the colors blue - gold and blue - yellow, the national colors contained in the coat of arms of Brunswick, the centuries- long territorial affiliation Klein is thought Denktes to the Duchy of Brunswick and country.
The coat of arms was adopted on 7 November 2005 by the representatives of the inhabitants unanimously as a local coat of arms.
Neindorf

Reason: Neindorf is located on Saaremaa and is also documented in medieval mentions connected with this mountain range ( 1281 " apud Nendhorp montem, qui dicitur in vulgari Osel ", " Neindorf the mountains, which is usually called Osel " 1314 " apud Nendorpe Osele " 1422 Neendorpe before Osel " ) whereby it can be historically well distinguished from other villages of the same name.
The horse in the coat of arms has a multiple meaning. For one, it is symbolic in Neindorf for generations in the weather vanes of the steeple present. Second, it reminds us of the centuries- long membership of the town to the Duchy of Brunswick and country. Third, it refers as a helper of man in agriculture on that until modern times, major economic and livelihood of the inhabitants. Fourth, it represents the local manor, which was from about 1539 to 1807 the seat of the aristocratic court Neindorf and in layman's terms, occupied a special position. In recent times, the good has gained importance as a seat of a stud farm and riding as sporty education and training center. The Bergmannsgezähe reminiscent of the operated Neindorf in the 19th and 20th century potash mining in the shafts Neindorf and Hedwigsburg who gave an economic heyday the place and led to a considerable increase in the number of inhabitants. With the blue and yellow colors, the colors of the country Brunswick, Neindorf committed to its centuries-long membership in the core area of the Duchy of Brunswick and country.
