Don Schollander

Donald Arthur "Don" Scholl Ander ( born April 30, 1946 in Charlotte, North Carolina ) is a retired American swimmer.

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he won four gold medals. In addition to the Olympic victories with the 4 × 100 m and 4 × 200 m freestyle relay, he also won the 100 m and 400 m freestyle. At the Olympic Games in Mexico in 1968, he won gold in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay. Overall, he set 20 world records.

1964 Scholl Ander was awarded the Sportsman of the Year Award from the Associated Press. In 1965 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the international swimming sport.

Scholl Ander lives in Lake Oswego in Oregon since his early youth.
