Style

Dream On, Dreamer play a classical variant of the post-hardcore, which also elements of electronic music - especially in the debut album Heart Bound ' - were to be found, so the band could also be seen as Trancecore band. Mitch from ALLSCHOOLS Network describes that the group in their sound on their debut long-player Heartbound to Attack Attack! would converge. Chris Hidden Sound from the British rock magazine is of the opinion that the musical style of the group attaches itself to classic metalcore.

On the second album Loveless the sound of the group sounds more melodic. This is due to, among others, the elimination of keyboardist Daniel Jungwirth which acts as the bassist for the group since the end of 2012 and the electronic sounds are arranged with backtracking. Compared to Heartbound find electronic samples much less use. Originally the music was composed only by guitarist Callan Orr. However, the other members of the band to be involved in the writing process on the third album.

The lyrics, written by vocalist Marcel Gadacz usually have a deep meaning, which is partly due to its origin.
