Egor Shastin

Yegor Jewgenjewitsch Schastin (Russian Егор Евгеньевич Шастин; born September 10, 1982 in Kiev, Ukrainian SSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Lada Togliatti Wysschaja Hockey League since October 2011.

Career

Yegor Schastin began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the HK Avangard Omsk, for the first team, he made his debut in the Super League in the 1998/99 season. He was in a total of eight games, one assist. In the aftermath of the attacker to 2000 in parallel for Awangards second team was active from 1998 to the third-rate Perwaja League came regularly for the first team of Avangard in the Super League for use and was in the 2000 /01 season with his team's runner-up. The 2005/06 season spent Schastin at Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in the Super League before he joined shortly before the season ends to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod from the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league. With his new club, he reached in the 2006/07 season as second division champions promotion to the Super League. After another year in the Super League, the former youth international standing since the 2008/09 season for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the Kontinental Hockey League newly founded on the ice. Following the 2010/11 season, his contract was not renewed. End of October 2011, he was committed for the rest of the season 2011/12 from HK Lada Togliatti of the second-rate Wysschaja Hockey League.

Internationally

For Russia took part in Schastin the U18 Junior World Championship in 2000 and the U20 World Youth Championship in 2001. Especially at the U18 World Cup in 2000, where he won the silver medal with his team, he was able to convince.
