Eitting

Eitting is a community in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding and a member of the administrative community high thing.

Geography

The community consists of four districts Eitting, Gaden, Eittingermoos and travel. Eitting is located in the Erdinger Moos near Freising near Munich Airport. Just out of town flows the Middle - Isar Canal. There lies the hydroelectric plant Eitting.

South along the A92 motorway is between Eitting Gaden and the nature reserve Viehlaßmoos; the western part of the reserve belongs to the municipality, the municipality of eastern mountain folk. West of Gaden is the nature reserve of Freising Buckley.

History

Eitting was mentioned in the year 811 the first time as " Utinga " and was owned by the Bishopric of Freising since time immemorial. Since 1284 was the place its own court, since 1434 a Hofmark, which existed until 1802. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818 the municipality Eitting. Among its members were the places Travel and Gaden. Gaden was already recorded in 1232 as " GADM " in the Freising charters. Eittingermoos was created only in 1828, however, as a kind of shelter for the peat-cutters.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on March 13, 1967 by the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior. The coat of arms description reads: "In the wave cut diagonally left split of red and gold; above the growing crook of a bishop's staff, below a black boar's head. "

Through the district attracts the channel of the Middle Isar, whose energy is used in the power plant Eitting. This distinctive feature of the community is represented by the heraldic symbol of the watercourse, the so-called wave cut its coat of arms. History of the site is dominated by the Hofmark Eitting of high pin Freising and the cathedral chapter and the effectiveness of the noble family of Ebersbeck in the community town of travel. The coat of arms was designed by Heinz C. heraldist Bessling from Heche village.

Flag

The flag was approved on 29 September 1989 by the Government of Upper Bavaria. The flag shows two stripes in the color sequence yellow-black with applied crest.

Economy and infrastructure

In Eitting There is a kindergarten and primary school. Close to home as primary care is given with bakers, butchers and farm shop. The site now houses a branch of the Technical University of Munich and a brewery.

North of the village, the A92 runs to the junction Erding. About the beginning there is a connection airport east expressway towards Erding and beyond. The place Eitting has a local bypass, the county road ED19, which keeps the traffic to Munich airport from the nucleus. Especially when the east wind (and the direction East -starting aircraft ) Eitting is affected by aircraft noise.
