Geography

Walpertskirchen is located about 8 km southeast of the county town of Erding, 15 km west of Villages, 24 km north of Ebersberg, 40 km northeast of the city of Munich and 20 km from Munich Airport in the Munich region. The municipality has a station on the railway line Munich - Mühldorf, which is operated at least every hour.

History
