Geography
Berglern located in the Munich area in the middle of Erdinger Moos, about halfway between the cities of Moosburg an der Isar (11 km ) and Erding (9 km). There are only 12 kilometers from Munich Airport, with Berglern is in exactly one entry lane. The planned third runway and runway Berglern would be extremely concerned; would at West Wind - Coming from the East - day 437 landing approaches go straight to a height of 250 meters above the center of the mountain folk.

On the territory of the commune were 1970 1.021 1987 1.203 and then counted 2,128 inhabitants in 2000.

In protest against the planned expansion of Munich Airport, the entire chapter of the CSU has left these in August 2011.

The coat of arms of the municipality Berglern was established on 4th September 1962, the following blazon: " Shared by red and silver; above a silver heraldic rose, down a green hill Three. "
In addition to the coat of arms the community performs a flag with the colors red - white-green covered with the coat of arms.

Economy, agriculture and forestry
The municipal tax revenue in 1999 amounted to the equivalent of € 742,000, which were converted to € 196,000 ( net) trade tax revenue. In 1998 there were, according to official statistics in manufacturing and 109 in trade and transport, no social insurance contributions at the workplace. In other areas, were employed to social security at the work of 13 people. Social insurance contributions at residence, there were a total of 787 in the manufacturing sector, there were four, five companies in the construction industry. In addition, in 1999, there were 57 farms with an agricultural area of 1,720 ha, of which 1,538 hectares of arable land.
