Hohenpolding
Hohenpolding is a municipality in the northeastern district of Erding ( Regierungsbezirk Oberbayern ) and a member of the administrative community stone churches.
The community participates in the Ostbündnis.
Geography
The place is located in the forest and hilly Erdinger wood land between Landshut (18 km) and Villages (14 km ) and 23 km north-east of the county town of Erding, just 25 km west of Vilsbiburg. It is 35 km from Munich Airport. The northern boundary of the municipality forms the boundary between Upper and Lower Bavaria. In the West, the highway passes 15 past the place.
History
The place appeared first documented in the year 998 by his Latin name alto soon Ingae on.
During the municipal reorganization in Bavaria the community Sulding was incorporated into Hohenpolding on 1 January 1972.
Since 1978 Hohenpolding together with the municipalities inning a.Holz, Kirchberg and stone churches, the Community Management stone churches.
Coat of arms and flag
The coat of arms of the municipality Hohenpolding was established on 8 February 1983: "On a silver sign foot, in two green Seeblätter to crossed stems, in blue next to each other a silver heraldic lily with a golden crown instead of the Federation and a silver cross whose vertical bar of a golden crown is covered. "
In addition to the coat of arms the community performs a flag with the colors white -green-yellow.

In Hohenpolding and the associated hamlets are three church buildings:
- Parish Church of the Visitation in Hohenpolding, built in 1752 by Johann Baptist Lethner
- Branch Church of St. John and Paul in Amelgering, built around 1755
- Branch Church of the Holy Cross in finding Sulding, built in its present form in 1703
