Pastetten

Pastetten is a municipality in the district of Erding ( Regierungsbezirk Oberbayern ) and a member of the administrative community of the same name.

Geography

The territory of Pastetten extends to the expiring here Munich gravel plain, which continues east into a wooded and hilly country as well as further south in the Ebersberg Forest. There is only the district Pastetten. Districts are Auerhäuseln, Birkeln, Dürnberg, Erlbach, Fendsbach, Harrein, Harthofen, Katterloh, Moosstetten, Oberschwillach, Ötz, Pastetten, Poigenberg, Reithofen, Rotmühle, Taing and couplets.

History

Pastetten is first mentioned in 957 in a document of Bishop Abraham of Freising Pastetten as " Poustetin ". Since the end of the 15th century Pastetten is detectable as Hofmark owned by the noble family Preysing. 1682 sell Preysing Hofmark Pastetten ( with the associated Hofmark head castle ) to the diocese of Freising. These historical relationships were detained by the Moor's head out of the bishopric of Freising coat of arms and the silver battlements of the Coat of Arms of Preysing coat of arms. The Hofmark 1803 was repealed with the Bishopric of Freising. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community.

Traffic

Pastetten is located about 14 km south of the district town of Erding, 20 km southwest of Villages, 17 km north of Ebersberg and 32 km from the city of Munich in the Munich region. The nearest train stations are located in each 6 km away Hörlkofen and Markt Schwaben, from which a connection to the Munich S-Bahn is guaranteed to the state capital.

Also in the municipality area is the intersection of two state highways in 2332 and 2331st At the latter ends with Junction 13 ( Pastetten ) currently which opened on August 31, 2011 and to the northwest at the site of motorway A94

The coat of arms of the municipality Pastetten was established on 17 October 1983, " Shared by gold and red; above a red crowned Moor's head, below a silver embattled walls. "
