El Salvador national basketball team

The Salvadoran national basketball team represents El Salvador at the men's basketball internationals. It was assumed since the beginning of the basketball Central America championships in those competitions and could variously qualify for this Central American tournament without reaching a positive balance in these finals and can be placed in front of the field. Since 2000 was only one qualification for the Central American Championship 2008, when they reached the seventh and last place after only one win in the final game about placing the neighboring country of Costa Rica. A qualification for a continental or even global finals did not succeed so far.
