Emilia Nyström

Emilia Nystrom (* September 13 1983 in Muurame ) is a Finnish beach volleyball player.

Career

Nyström plays together with her twin sister Erika. At the World Junior Championships in 2001 in Le Lavandou and 2002 in Catania, the sisters each reached the ninth. Between the two competitions they completed their first professional tournament at the Stavanger Open. As a fifth-placed the World Junior Championships in 2003 in Saint -Quay- Portrieux they were also in the 2003 European Championship in Alanya and occupied the ninth. With the same result, they reached the following year in Marseille for the first time the top ten of a Grand Slam tournament.
