The Episcopal Church of Jerusalem and the Middle East (English Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East) is a member church of the Anglican Communion. It extends over Israel, Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Cyprus, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Bahrain, Qatar, Yemen, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. Since 1975, she is self-employed and has four dioceses.

The origins go back to 1841, when a joint Jerusalem bishopric was established by the Anglican Church of England and the Prussian Lutheran Church. This was 1887 Anglican pure.
