Eric Beaudoin

Eric Beaudoin (born 3 May 1980, Ottawa, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Since 2010 he plays with a brief interruption for EHC Biel in the National League A.

Career

Eric Beaudoin in 1998 selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning during the NHL Entry Draft and began his career with the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League. With this he won the 1998 J. Ross Robertson Cup, the championship trophy of the OHL.

In 2000, he went to the American Hockey League for different teams on the ice before he made his debut for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League in the 2001/ 02 season. Until 2005, he played for the Panthers in the NHL and for their farm team in the AHL, where he completed a total of 53 NHL games in which he scored eleven points scorer.

Before the season 2005 /06 he was taken by the Newcastle Vipers of the British Elite Ice Hockey League contract. A short time later, this contract was solved because Beaudoin played at various clubs in the SM- liiga to the sample. Ultimately, however, he moved to Sweden for Mora IK, for which he completed a total of three seasons. In 2008 he joined the Swedish runner Linköpings HC and played for this both in the Elitserien, as well as in the Champions Hockey League. In May 2009 he signed a contract with Rögle BK. Despite a solid season of Canadian descent into the HockeyAllsvenskan could not be prevented. Thereupon Beaudoin Sweden decided to leave, we would just play in Switzerland for EHC Biel in the NLA. Due to a shoulder injury he fell out for much of the season 2010/11. Nevertheless, the contract was extended for one year thanks to good performances in the relegation. After two more seasons with Swiss first division of the contract by the Canadian was not renewed. In his last season for the EHC Biel he could because of the lockout in the NHL a variety of games not complete, as with Tyler Seguin and Patrick Kane, two renowned actors were committed in the battle for one of the four Kontigentplätze.

This was followed by the move to Germany, where he will be active for the Straubing Tigers in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga in the future.
