Evgeny Timkin

Yevgeny Leonidovich Timkin (Russian: Евгений Леонидович Тимкин; born September 3, 1990 in Murmansk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Kontinental Hockey League since May 2013.

Career

Yevgeny Timkin began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the HK Avangard Omsk, for the second team, he was active from 2006 to 2008 in the third-class Perwaja league. Then the winger spent two years playing for the first team of HK Avangard in the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League, where he ran aground in the season 2009/10 in parallel for the junior team of the club in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja league. In the 2010/11 season he played for the Florida Everblades in the ECHL and also participated in the ECHL All-Star Game in part. The playing time even though he finished at the Mississippi RiverKings in the Central Hockey League.

For the 2011/12 season Timkin was committed by the KHL Vityaz Chekhov participants and established itself until the end of 2012/ 13 as a regular player of the club. He was then committed for three years from Metallurg Magnitogorsk.

Internationally

For Russia Timkin took part in the U20 Junior World Cup in 2010. During the tournament he prepared in six games before a goal.
