Chris Lee (ice hockey)

Chris Lee ( born October 3, 1980 in MacTier, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Kontinental Hockey League since April 2013.

Career

Chris Lee began his career as a hockey player in the Ontario Junior Hockey League, where he was active for the Orillia Terriers Terriers, Parry Sound Shamrocks and Couchiching between 1996 and 2000. Then he attended for four years, the State University of New York at Potsdam, for their hockey team he played in the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

At his first stop in the professional area of the defenders was then for three years for the Florida Everblades in the ECHL. In the season 2006/ 07 he also gained his first experience in the höherklassigeren American Hockey League in which he Ak -Sar - Ben Knights stood for the Albany River Rats, Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Omaha on the ice. From 2007 to 2010 Lee played one year long for the AHL team, the Iowa Stars, Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Then the Canadians for the season 2010/ 11 was committed by the Cologne Sharks of the German Ice Hockey League. In the 2011/12 season he played for the Adler Mannheim, with whom he became German Vice Champion.

2012 Lee moved to Sweden to Färjestad BK and scored in the following season 53 scorer points in 64 games this season, making him the best point defender of the Elitserien.
