Finland national football team
The Finnish national football team is the football selection from Finland and is subordinate to the Finnish Football Association ( Suomen Palloliitto ). Finland has never qualified for a World Cup or European Football Championship. However, football is in Finland in popularity behind ice hockey, a sport in which the country was already world champion.

In qualifying for the Euro 2016 Finland meets Greece, Hungary, Romania, Northern Ireland and the Faroe Islands. Only against the Faroe Islands Finland has a positive balance.
Olympic Games ( senior team )
After 1948, the national team has not participated in the Olympic Games; but she denied qualifiers for the Olympic Games in 1960 against Poland, in 1964 against the USSR, and in 1976 against Norway, which are not recognized by FIFA as 'A' matches.
