Fraport AG ( Frankfurt Airport ) ( exactly: Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide ), headquartered in Frankfurt am Main is the listed company that operates the Frankfurt airport. As the majority state-owned company located Fraport belongs to the state-owned enterprises. Fraport is involved in other German and foreign airports.

The shares of Fraport AG is part of the MDAX. CEO Stefan Schulte, its predecessor was until August 2009 Wilhelm Bender.

History

When Frankfurt Rebstock airfield in the 1930s reached its capacity, was built in 1936 in Frankfurt City Forest of flight and the airship port Rhein- Main. Investments
