Fürstenfeld District

The political Fürstenfeld district was a political district in Austria in eastern Styria.

Following the reorganization of the Styrian district headquarters of the district was merged on 1 January 2013 with the district of Hartberg the district of Hartberg - Fürstenfeld.

The district Fürstenfeld had an area of ​​approximately 264 km ², and bordered to the south, west and north by the Styrian Feldbach, Weiz and the former district of Hartberg and on the east by the Burgenland districts Jenner village and Güssing. Until 31 December 2012 the entire district around 23,000 inhabitants were reported. The administrative headquarters was in Fürstenfeld and the license plate number was FF.

Administrative divisions

The district Fürstenfeld was divided into 14 municipalities, including a city and two market towns. In parentheses are the numbers of inhabitants from 1 January 2013.

  • D = village
  • ZH = Scattered houses
  • Sdlg = settlement
  • E = bowery (only if they have their own town code)
