Grand contournement de Paris

Grand contournement de Paris or Big -pass of Paris refers to a chain of highway routes, which are collectively referred to as the fourth ring road around Paris, while the third ring road of francilienne enclose a large distance of 80 km to 200 km. Further inside the beltway Autoroute A86 is located at a distance from the Notre Dame 8-16 km away and the Boulevard périphérique, which runs directly to the city limits of Paris.

The basis of the Great bypass is the centralized structure of France, in which almost all paths are designed to lead to and from Paris. For instance, also the road network, do not want to enter in the Ile- de -France region, yet go there and find a motorway connecting rings in an outgoing highway. Second variation

The entire length of the second variant is almost 1115 km and the toll fee is 67,80 Euro (as of 1 October 2011). By 2025, the A26 should be extended to the A71 near Bourges, while N151 replace the N77 and contournement as part of the Grand. Currently, the building is restored, as the current and expected traffic volume does not need a short-term expansion. Furthermore, it is planned to connect the broken through Rouen A28.
