Guébling
Guébling ( German until 1915 Gebling since Geblingen ) is a commune with 141 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Château- Salins and Canton Dieuze.
Geography
The municipality is located in Guébling Saulnois, north of Dieuze at an altitude 216-333 m above sea level. The municipality covers 6.86 km ².
To Guébling include the district Reclin ( 1567: Reclingen, 1790: Recling ).
History
The church was first mentioned in 1525 as Gueblingen.
The village belonged to the German Empire from 1871 to 1918, but remained French official and vernacular.
