The Guinean franc (ISO-4217 code: GNF) is the currency of Guinea.

With the independence of Guinea, a currency reform was carried out, emerged from the 1960 Guinean Franc. He was the Syli (ISO-4217 Code: GNS ) replaced in 1972.

The current Guinean franc was introduced in 1986 and replaced the Syli. It is issued by the Central Bank of Guinea ( Banque Centrale de la Republique de Guinee ).
