György Csordás

György Csordás [ ɟørɟ ʧorda ː ʃ ] ( born October 6, 1928 in Cegléd; † 9 May 2000, Budapest) was a Hungarian swimmer.

He belonged to the strong Hungarian swimmers shortly after the end of World War II. In 1948, he was fourth Olympic 1500-meter freestyle, 1952 in Helsinki, he finished with the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay to fifth place. At the European Championships 1954 in Turin, he won the title over 400 meters and 1500 meters.
