Haag in Oberbayern ( officially: i.OB Hague ) is a market in the Upper Bavarian district Mühldorf on the Inn River and at the interface of B 12 and B 15. He has served as the center of the Hague country a varied and colorful past.

Geographical Location

Haag in Oberbayern located in Southeast Upper Bavaria in the foothills of the Alps and offers its elevated position above a comprehensive view on the chain of the Bavarian Alps, which determine the horizon to the south. Hague is conveniently located approximately 50 km east of Munich, 15 km south of the Villages, 21 km west of Waldkraiburg, 14 km north of Wasserburg and 32 km from the district town of Mühldorf. On the B 15, there are 48 km to Landshut and 38 km to Rosenheim. The nearest train station is located 8 km away neighboring Soyen on the railway line Rosenheim - Mühldorf, which is served by the SüdostBayernBahn.

History

Hague is first mentioned around the year 980 as the seat of the free Mr. Enge Schlecht " de Haga '. In 1245 Hague was transferred by the Emperor Frederick II to Sigfrid of Mrs. Berg.
