The HC Slovan Ustecti Lvi is a Czech ice hockey association, which was founded in 1963 in Ústí nad Labem. The club has been playing the 2008/ 09 season in the first league, the second-highest professional league in the Czech ice hockey. Play their home games in the club from the 6,500 -seat arena Zlatopramen.

History

The club was known before independence by different names. 1945 there was a first hockey team at Sokol Ústí nad Labem. This club was later renamed ZSJ Armaturka and TJ Chemická before 1963 TJ Slovan Ústí nad Labem launched.

The association could reach the 1999 championship in the third-tier division 2, but increased until a year later on in the first league. At the end of the 2005/06 season he won the championship title of the 1st Division for the first time, but could not ascend in the Extraliga, as this was a closed league at this time.

The greatest success in the old club history was reached in 2007, when the HC Slovan could celebrate the championship of the 1st Division and was allowed to ascend in the Extraliga.
