Heidi Range

Heidi India Range (born 23 May 1983; Liverpool, Merseyside ) is a British pop and R & B singer and songwriter. She was a founding member of the British pop girl group Atomic Kitten and from 2001 until the dissolution in 2011 also a member of the British pop girl group Sugababes.

Biography

Heidi Range is the daughter of Paul Range and Karen Livingstone and has a sister and four half-siblings. Since 2003, Range had a relationship with British TV presenter Dave Berry. On 4 January 2010 it was announced that the couple got engaged on New Year's Eve 2009 during a vacation in India after Berry Range made ​​a request. On December 10, 2011 Range announced on her Twitter page that the two a few months previously separated.

Music career

Atomic Kitten

Range started her career in 1998 along with Liz McClarnon and Kerry Katona as a founding member of the British pop girl group Atomic Kitten. Already in 1999 she left the band because they did not agree with the style of music. Although she recorded the whole first album with the band, she has never published anything with Atomic Kitten.

Sugababes

2001 joined Range as a replacement for the retired from the band Siobhán Donaghy in the British pop girl group Sugababes. With the Sugababes they previously had five top 10 albums, two of which reached No. 1 ( Taller in More Ways and Change), as well as 18 Top 10 singles, six of which reached No. 1 ( Freak Like Me, Round Round, Hole in the Head, push the Button, Walk This Way ( with Girls Aloud ) and About You Now ). The end of 2009 was Keisha Buchanan, the only remaining founding member of the Sugababes, Jade Ewen replaced. Both Range and her bandmate Amelle Berrabah later said in interviews that they could no longer work with Buchanan. They gave also that they both wanted to leave the band, but the management wanted to keep her and instead Buchanan removed from the band. In September 2013 bandmate Jade Ewen announced that the Sugababes had already disbanded in 2011.

From 8 January 2012 to February 19, 2012 was the seventh season participant Range of British show Dancing On Ice. Furthermore, they will be seen in 2014 in the musical Happy Day.
