Geography
Geographical location
Hillerse is located near the southern heath in Oker. The community Hillerse is a member congregation of the Samtgemeinde Meinersen.

History
The church was mentioned in records in 1079 for the first time.
On March 1, 1974, the community was incorporated Volkse.
