Ummern is a municipality in the Lüneburg Heath in the Samtgemeinde beings village in the district of Gifhorn. It belongs to the state of Lower Saxony and has an area of ​​40.32 km ².

Geography

Ummern is a typical example of the former heathland. In the south there are largely natural bogs and meadows. Around the village is dominated by sparse oak trees and fields. History
