Hold Your Fire is the title of the 12th album, the Canadian rock band Rush has published in September 1987 by the record company " Mercury Records ".

For many fans, the group Hold Your Fire marks the beginning of the descent of the band. Under the producer Peter Collins to Rush has increasingly adopted from critics view of his progressive roots and oriented the arrangements to the musical mainstream. The band members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, who, as usual, wrote the music, is alleged to have fabricated idea poor monumental rock - as evidence are especially titles like the pathetic Second Nature and the tranquil idyll China Tai Shan used.
