Honda Acty
Honda Acty is the name of a series of vans of the Japanese car manufacturer Honda, which are intended mainly for the domestic market. They are classified as a kei car in Japan, that is, as cars with low overall weight and very small displacement. The facilities of Honda Acty is rather spartan, the possible structure variants but diverse in Japan known as flatbed pickup truck, van and minibus.

Acty I
Because of the Japanese government newly established technical framework for the Kei -cars built since 1967, a successor of the Honda TN 360 with its air-cooled engine was overdue.
It was published in 1977 the Acty with water-cooled engine. The concept of lying means the engine ahead of the rear axle was taken over by Honda TN 360. The newly developed two-cylinder engine now had 545 cm3 and made 21 kW (28 hp). 1979, the range was extended to the bus and later by a closed van, which was to get even with a high roof. In 1981 there was the Honda Street, a luxury equipped Acty minivan / van. From 1982, the Acty could be ordered with an automatic transmission, and from 1983 he was offered with optional all-wheel drive.

Acty II
In 1988 the Acty in 2nd generation and increased vehicle length. This Honda responded to the 1984 amended regulations for Kei cars. The engine was again redesigned and now had three instead of two cylinders. Also a new version of Honda Street was available again.

Facelift 1990
The Acty has been thoroughly revised since the 1988's model, the engine capacity and the vehicle length limits have not been fully exploited. From the Year 1990, the Acty was equipped with a new engine ( E07A ). A 3- cylinder four- stroke engine with 656 cm3. This engine was used in all Honda kei cars this time. A new model, the Acty Crawler added from 1995 onwards the program. This version not only had the crawler drive on a tandem rear axle, but also has served as a dump truck. 1996, the long-standing E07A engine with the fuel injection PGM -FI has been provided, which brought a power increase of 28 ( 38) to 32 kW ( 44 hp). Acty III Pick -up
The Japanese government enacted again in 1996 new rules of vehicle dimensions in the kei car class, whereupon the Acty 1999 was again revised and presented as the third generation. Here, above all, the wheelbase has been altered since the crash behavior has been improved and thereby the loading area would have higher altitude. The maximum engine power increased from 28 kW ( 38 hp ) to 34 kW now generally (46 hp). The Honda Street was replaced by the Vamos. Unlike the previous generations, the all-wheel version could now be equipped with automatic transmission. 2009 ended the production of the pick-ups during the panel van / minibus is still in production, but now with all-wheel drive, automatic transmission and 39 kW (53 hp).

Acty IV
In 2009, the fourth generation was introduced at the 41th Tokyo Motor Show.
