The Honda Civic is the ninth generation available in Germany since 11 February 2012. For the first time developed for Europe model was presented at the IAA 2011. The design represents an evolution of the previous model

Since the summer of 2012, the previously available only in Eastern Europe Honda Civic Sedan is offered in Western Europe. In Germany the notchback sedan in four trim levels and nine colors is available.

In the spring of 2013, the Honda Civic Tourer was unveiled as a concept car, which comes from the design studio Vercarmodel Saro. In the fall of 2013, the production version was presented, which was introduced in Europe on 1 February 2014. The combination has been produced since 12 December 2013 English Honda plant in Swindon.

In the spring of 2014, the five-door hatchback model will be revised and now includes as standard, inter alia, darkened tail lights and a tinted rear window.

Specifications

At launch, there were three engines, including two petrol and one diesel engine to choose from. The two petrol engines operate on the induction principle, are therefore not charged using a compressor or turbocharger. The smaller petrol engine brings out 1.4 liter engine, a power output of 74 kW (101 hp), the greater of 1.8 liters 104 kW (141 hp). The 2.2 -liter common-rail diesel engine has a power output of 110 kW ( 150 hp).

In January 2013, the engine range is a newly developed engine has been extended downwards. It is a 1.6-liter common-rail diesel engine (120 hp) 88 kW and has a fuel consumption of 3.6 liters per 100 km. The force is transmitted to the front wheels via a six -speed manual transmission. For the 1.8 -liter gasoline engine, a 5 -speed automatic transmission is offered.
