William Jeffrey " Jeff" Hostetler ( born April 22, 1961 in Hollsopple, Pennsylvania) is an American former American football player at the position of quarterback. He has played with the New York Giants in the National Football League ( NFL), with whom he won two Super Bowls.

Youth / College

Hostetlers ancestors are Amish and come from a native of the German-speaking Switzerland Mennonite Jacob Hochstetler from, who had immigrated in 1738 to the USA. Originally the family came from Schwarzburg. Jeff's family and he himself have, however, adapted to the American culture.

Hostetler was playing on the high school football and graduated in 1980, first at Pennsylvania State University, but did not see any perspective in their football team and moved to West Virginia University Morgantown.
