Joachim Nermark

Joachim Nermark ( born May 12, 1993 Sunne ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is under contract with Linköpings HC in the Elitserien since 2010.

Career

Joachim Nermark began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the Sunne IK, for the first team he first ran aground in the 2008 /09 season in the third-tier Division 1. Then, the center moved to the youth department of Leksand IF where he remained for a year before it for the season 2010/11 a contract with Linköpings HC received for its pro team, he made his debut in the Elitserien. In his rookie year in the highest Swedish league, he prepared in twelve games before a goal. He also came to three appearances for his new team in the European Trophy.

With his achievements, he was able to convince the talent scouts and was selected after the first season in KHL Junior Draft in the second round than a total of 42 players of Salavat Yulaev Ufa and then in the NHL Entry Draft in the fourth round as a total of 93 players the Colorado Avalanche.

Internationally

For Sweden Nermark took part in the U18 World Junior Championships in 2010 and 2011 at the junior level. Both times he won the silver medal with his team, he also was appointed at the 2011 U18 World Cup as one of the three best players in Sweden.
